A final note about blog etiquette, at least etiquette for this blog: there are three things you can do to support the effort of this blog to document family history (presuming you want to support that).
1. Subscribe to the feed. You can subscribe to receive the feed by e-mail in the upper right-hand corner of each page of the blog. To subscribe using your RSS feed reader, subscribe as you normally would using your reader. By subscribing, you will receive each (typically weekly) post to the blog, giving the author the impression that you care and inspiring him to keep trying.
2. Participate. You participate by commenting on the weekly posts or by responding to the posts in an e-mail to the author. Posts often end with a question or invitation to provide information or insights. These are intended to be genuine requests. You should feel no obligation to respond, but you should consider yourself, whoever you are, welcome to respond--especially if we are or might be related, whether or not we know each other. I always want new photos, stories, histories, etc. I also want to be corrected if I get something wrong. For some family history elements, this may be the most formal archive of information; you can help keep it valuable by helping to correct it when I'm wrong and by filling in the blanks.
3. Promote. In asking you to promote this blog, let me hasten to add that I I do not charge people or intend to charge people for access to this data. I ask you to promote this to your family members, who are also my family members, in hopes that we can increase the number of people who know this resource is available and to find more people with more information (see #2 Participate above) to help build the family history. Ward Rasmus Thorpe was born in Ephraim, Utah on January 15, 1906. He passed away while visiting family in Sacramento, California in June of 1988.
Phyllis Ednal Dayton was born in Midway, Utah on March 31, 1911. She married Ward Thorpe on October 21, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She passed away at home in Salt Lake City on 27 Jul 1999.
Charles Reid Bird was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 18, 1915. He passed away on March 8, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Marian Bricker was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 17, 1916. She married Charles Bird on July 1, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She passed away May 2, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Richard Velsa Gray was born in Provo, Utah on June 2, 1931. He passed away on May 26, 1994 in Sacramento, California. 
Sallie Jean Wyant was born May 7, 1931 in Sacramento, California. She married Richard Gray in Los Angeles, California on June 13, 1953. She passed away in September 2004.
