Gail and I returned yesterday from New Orleans, where we attended the Sugar Bowl. Utah beat Alabama 31 - 17 in what has been described as the biggest game Utah ever played.
Gail and I genuinely enjoyed the opportunity to be there for this historic occasion. Personally, I had feared that we would get blown out. When the first quarter ended 21-0 I was not shocked that the score was lopsided, but I was surprised by the team that was on top!
While we were there, we toured New Orleans, the French Quarter, the 9th Ward where Katrina had its worst impact, and a nearby swamp. Much fun.
