2011 Pioneer Trek

Dayton and I recently had the opportunity to attend the Bonneville, University and Liberty Stakes' 2011 Pioneer Trek as "official" photographers.  Between us, we took over 12,000 photos in three days and then spent 3 full days editing the photos and picking our 3,000 favorites.

Thanksgiving Visit In St. George

With Dayton home for Thanksgiving, we ran down to St. George for three days and really enjoyed some sunny weather and a quick break from the normal pace of things.

Here are some photos that Dayton and I took while visiting Zion National Park together.

Visit to USC to See Dayton

Gail and I visited Dayton in Southern California this weekend.  It is always a highlight for parents to see their children succeed.  Dayton is doing phenomonally well at school.  

For us, one of the highlights is his continued work for the University of Utah, where he continues his paid research in molecular chemistry.  We hope to see Dayton back in Salt Lake for his work next summer.

Visit to Snowbird

Tonight, Gail, Dayton and I slipped up to Snowbird to ride the tram, cool off and have a nice dinner.  We got caught in a bit of a storm so we certainly got cooled off.   We finished with a wonderful dinner at the Aerie Restaurant.
