January birthdays

On Monday evening, the extended Thorpe Family celebrated January birthdays.  On my birthday.

Largely as a result of Facebook, I had more birthday greetings than ever before this year.  It was remarkable.  So many people sent email greetings I almost got tired of it.

Jeremy and Angela Host Barbecue

On Sunday evening Jeremy and Angela hosted a barbecue for the family that was not entirely rained out.

The head count for the evening was a full 28 bodies!  What a blast!

Jeremy and Angela provided a wonderful meal.

Gray Night

We had the Gray Clan out for dinner this evening.  We missed Gary and Sue because Sue had a car accident this week and is still recovering (she may require another [her fourth] surgery on her shoulder to repair the damage.

Jim and Sue made it out; Scott represented Whitney; Kensley brought her boys and we visited Brad at work after dinner.  Fun evening--especially with Dayton in town!

Mother's Day

We had a great little family gathering for Mother's Day with the Thorpes yesterday.  We missed only Christian and Brittany, but otherwise had a great time.   We met Natalie's new beau, John, and Bridgett's oldest daughter Markessa.  See some photo moments below.
