Saturday my wife and I visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon--in the snow.
It was interesting to see snow in Arizona in late May, but at nearly 9,000 feet above sea level, I shouldn't have been surprised. In fact, beneath the fresh snow, in many places we observed several feet of snow still left from the winter.
The day was cold, but we still saw the beauty and majesty of the country's greatest National Park.
